Paris Trip 2018
Sixth Form pupils studying A Level French or History of Art enjoyed the opportunity to travel to Paris during the Easter break, enjoying the rich cultural heritage of the city under the guidance of Mr Rawlins and Dr Sanders.
The programme for the trip included visits to the Villa Savoye at Poissy, the Château de Malmaison, the Palace of Versailles, the Louvre, the Orangerie, the Rodin Museum, the Museum of the History of Immigration, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Madeleine Church, the Musée d’Orsay and the Centre Pompidou. The French students had the chance to practise oral work, translation and grammar in a variety of cultural environments, including the Parc de la Villette, and Rodin Museum and various French cafés.
