Barlow House
Barlow is named after St Ambrose Barlow, a monk of the community of St Gregory the Great, who was martyred in 1641.
Fourth Form boys (Year 10) share a dormitory, with individual cubicles. Fifth and Sixth Form boys (Years 11, 12 and 13) have their own study bedrooms.
House Colours: Black & White
What the Barlow boys say:
“As a lower sixth pupil, I believe Barlow’s unique atmosphere promotes a nurturing environment for young men to develop as individuals, whatever their skill set. Integrity and empathy are held to a high standard and sit at the heart of our community. Barlow House truly embodies a Benedictine welcome to any guests who pass through its doors.” Vincent, Lower 6th Pupil
“Despite being the smallest house in the school, Barlow’s energy, spirit and persistence drives us to consistently challenge others and ourselves, on the path towards success and improvement…” Aristo, Lower 6th Pupil
