Working at Downside
Thank you for visiting our Careers Page to find out more about working at Downside.
We employ a range of individuals to work in our School. Employees may work full-time, part-time or term-time. We also engage the services of self-employed individuals and volunteers for specialist areas such as sports coaching or music teaching.
We aim to provide our employees with opportunities to develop professionally and to maintain high standards of performance.
We apply employment policies that are fair, equitable and consistent with the skills and abilities of our employees and the needs of the School.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo appropriate child protection screening which may include detailed reference checks, a safeguarding interview and a criminal record check via the Disclosure Barring Service.
