The weekend included a trip to the popular Crazy Climb center, Bristol where Pupils had the opportunity to test their strength and agility, scaling walls and tackling challenging routes. The bouldering trip which also took place on Sunday added another layer of excitement, where pupils could practice technique, balance, and perseverance. Both activities were perfect for building confidence and teamwork.
For those seeking a more relaxed pace, the shopping trip to Bath was a highlight. Pupils enjoyed exploring the beautiful city, browsing shops, and soaking in the historic atmosphere. It was a perfect chance to unwind while enjoying some retail therapy. The Art block was open with staff available to support those who needed to catch up with course work or for those seeking a quiet place to work on personal projects
Saturday evening saw the much-anticipated Fourth Form Social. Pupils gathered for a delicious formal dining experience, with a menu that catered to all tastes. Afterward, the night came alive with a silent disco. With music pumping through their headphones, pupils danced the night away, enjoying the lively atmosphere and making memories with friends.
Saturday night also included a racquet sports competition which brought out the competitive spirit in many. Pupils enjoyed friendly matches showcasing their skills while encouraging one another. It was a fantastic display of sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
For our younger pupils, the weekend also offered a unique outdoor experience with a Third Form Campout. Under the supervision of staff, they pitched tents, and shared stories, whilst enjoying delicious hot chocolate and marshmallows
To round off the weekend, pupils participated in a pizza-making session, where they could channel their inner chefs. Kneading dough, choosing toppings, and baking their pizzas from scratch was a fun and rewarding activity, with everyone enjoying their delicious creations afterward.
Overall, the weekend offered a wide variety of activities that catered to every interest, ensuring pupils remained active and engaged. It was a fantastic mix of physical challenge, social fun, and creative expression that left those that took part looking forward to the next adventure!
