We were delighted that so many of our Downside pupils were awarded their first-choice universities this summer.
Engineering was a popular choice this year with pupils opting for courses at Imperial College London, Nottingham, Warwick, Edinburgh and Bristol. Scientists chose Plymouth, Cardiff, Warwick, Oxford, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, King’s College London, UCL, Glasgow, The University of Toronto and Southampton. Oxford Brookes, Kent and Essex attracted our Business Studies pupils, whist York, Exeter, Warwick, Cardiff and Oxford Brookes our Linguistics and English Literature pupils. Theologians were accepted into Durham, Exeter and Nottingham.
