Vision for the future; a life fully lived

We are blessed at Downside to have such an expansive historical estate that has been home to generations of Old Gregorians for over 200 years in Stratton-on-the-Fosse. Our founding Houses have witnessed over a century of transformation and as custodians of these magnificent buildings, both new and old, we must preserve them to ensure they stand for another hundred years.

The launch of the House Appeal aims to renew social and living spaces within each House, with renovation projects such as a new open-plan kitchen or activities that bring the House community together in Common Rooms, all bringing new life to their homes.

We aim to raise a total of £90,000, spread across the six Houses. The pupils have shared some of their ideas and the vision for their House which can be found by clicking the relevant crest below.
