Taster and Entrance Days

A taster day allows your daughter or son to experience a full day of Downside life, including an overnight stay should they wish. It’s a superb opportunity to fully immerse oneself in what happens at the School from lessons to mealtimes, activities to prep.

The annual Entrance and Taster Days are an opportunity to experience a day with our Staff and pupils and meet others joining at the same entry point.  During the day, each child has an opportunity to meet with the Head.

The Year 9 Entrance and Taster Day takes place in the January when your child is in either Year 6 or 7. Click here to view the entrance day invitation for entry in 2025 and 2026.
