Table Tennis

Table Tennis at Downside has seen significant growth in recent years. The school has eight competition tables which offers pupils an excellent facility for training and competition. Competitive Inter-School fixtures are organised for boys and girls, with regular opposition including Sherborne, King’s Bruton, Wells Cathedral School and Monkton Combe.

An extra-curricular activity is available throughout the academic year and boys and girls in the Fifth Form and Sixth Form can choose the sport as a Games option in the Lent Term; training three times a week and receiving excellent coaching.
