On the last weekend of term the Downside School Third Form travelled to Skern Lodge in Bideford, Devon, for a long weekend of activities and adventure.

The weather was, thankfully, glorious! Pupils spent their time outside as much as possible and enjoyed a range of active experiences including surfing, raft building, power boating and kayaking. They also thoroughly enjoyed taking a RIB ride on the river Torridge estuary and taking to the skies as they conquered their fears on the high ropes! Great fun was had by all and pupils had a chance to develop their teamwork and leadership skills as well as enjoy each other’s company as a year group before the end of term.

Thank you to Mr Dolman, Ms Ball, Mr Pollard and Mr Moreno for volunteering their weekend to supervise the boys and girls and take part in the activities.
