This week we welcomed Sheikh Rashad Azami to Downside, who came to talk to the Upper Sixth about Islam as part of their General Religious Studies course. He spoke about the key beliefs and practices of Islam and answered questions on a variety of topics, including the differences between Shia and Sunni Islam, the effect of the Hajj on the individual and the wearing of the hijab and burka.
