Talented Fourth Form golfer Rosie played in the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club over the Easter holidays.
A leading scratch event for 120 of Europe’s best female amateur golfers.
Rosie was the youngest to take part and played alongside a Pepperdine University (USA) 1st team player and a Scottish Team member (one of which she beat!).
In very windy conditions, Rosie achieved a combined score of 168 after her opening rounds, narrowly missing the cut score of 160 for the top 60 players.
Taking part were most of the Swedish National team, many players from the Scotland, England, Ireland and Welsh National teams and a host of others.
This was an invaluable experience for a 15-year-old golfer and we look forward to seeing Rosie continue her progress with many more competitive tournaments planned over the coming months.
