Last Saturday the School hosted an eagerly awaited Rock Night.

Four student bands performed, and the fantastic lighting and sound tech was managed wonderfully by our new Theatre Technician, Mr Child-Cavill.

The Freddie Whitaker Band kicked off the show with ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ by Green Day. Next up were Cry Of The Lactose Intolerant performing ‘Song #2’ by Blur and ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes, and then EMUS playing ‘Pressure’ by Muse. The Boas Brothers headlined and treated us to ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ by Lynyrd Skynyrd, ‘Layla’ by Derek and the Dominoes, and then closed the show with ‘Can’t Stop’ by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. A superb night was had by all.
