We are absolutely delighted that Jessie has been offered a place at Magdalen College, Oxford, to read Classics.
Jessie is currently studying Latin, Greek and Religious Studies at A level. Jessie’s interest in Classics began when she first came to Downside five years ago (joining from All Hallows Prep School) when she saw a copy of The Aeneid in our library and decided to read it, much to her friend’s amusement! Her rigorous academic journey and passion for the subject has not wavered, and alongside support and encouragement of her teachers, is now completing her studies, hoping to take up her place in October.
