It was a pleasure to welcome so many members of the Petre Society and their guests to Downside on Tuesday 21st March.
The day began with Whole School Mass for the Solemnity of The Passing of St Benedict. Members of the Petre Society were then welcomed to the Butler Room, for a wonderful lunch, joined by Andrew Hobbs, Head, Abbot Nicholas, Dom Leo and Dom Martin. After lunch members of Society were invited on a pupil led tour of the School, giving them an opportunity to see the School now and hear first hand the current pupils experiences. It was an extremely enjoyable day and a delight to welcome so many people back to Downside.
