Old Gregorians and their spouses from the North Dorset and surrounding areas gathered at the The Grosvenor Arms, Hindon, on Thursday 25th May for drinks and supper.
It was an extremely enjoyable evening with old friends reuniting and some meeting for the first time, being new to the area. Before guests were seated for a delicious supper, John Ludlow (C82), Chair of Governors, thanked Michael Bernard, former Chair of Governors, for his invaluable support and direction provided to the School during his time as a Governor and Chair. Jonny Grew (C77), President of St Gregory’s Society, then presented Michael with an OG tie and welcomed him as an Honorary Old Gregorian.
The first North Dorset gathering was a huge success and one to be repeated, with particular thanks to Ken Beedle (R73) for organising such an idyllic venue and initiating the regional event.
