OG Golf Spring Meeting – 14th May 2026

SPRING MEETING 2026 – DENHAM GOLF CLUB

The Spring Meeting will be held at Denham Golf Club (denhamgolfclub.co.uk) on Thursday 14th May 2026. The Club is about 2 miles north west of Junction 1 of the M40; the address is Tilehouse Lane, Denham, UB9 5DE. It also has its own railway station which is just c. 30 mins from Marylebone!

We will play singles in the morning for the Raven Tankards and Society prizes, and foursomes in the afternoon for the Mathewson Salvers and Society prizes. Play will be Stableford all day, 95% handicap in the singles and half combined in the foursomes. Starting times will be 8.30 am and 2.15 pm.

The deadline for entries is 9.00 am on Wednesday 6th May. Please include your current handicap, preferably a WHS Handicap Index. If you have a preference for an early or late tee time in the morning, please state this when you apply to take part.

The cost of the day’s golf, including coffee and bacon rolls on arrival and an unrivalled lunch, will be £156.00 (payable on the day please, not in advance). Dress code for lunch is jacket and tie. Thanks to the generosity of a number of society members, we are now able to limit the cost of the day to £50.00 for members under 30 years of age.

Some members have also kindly offered lifts so, if this would make your travel plans easier, please let us know and we will put you in touch with someone in your area. We are working hard to encourage greater attendance at all OGGS meetings and fixtures and I am delighted to say that we have 21 members already signed up for this meeting (with a number of other ‘possibles’). It would be great if we could push that number even higher so please put the date in your diary and let us know you’ll be joining us!
