The May Morning Madrigals: an early start to the day – but worth it.

The boys and girls of the Mixed Chamber Choir were up early this morning for the School’s 1st May tradition to celebration of the coming of Spring.

The Choir gathered at the top of the Roberts Tower and sang out their hearts, bringing a small chink of sunshine to Stratton-on-the-Fosse on an otherwise overcast and chilly Spring morning. The event was rounded off with a hearty May Morning breakfast of bacon sandwiches.

Despite the early start, the singers thoroughly enjoyed the event, welcoming such a rousing and joyous start to the day.
