Benedictine Friends of Manquehue Reunion
An opportunity for OAs, OGs and alumni from other UK Benedictine Schools to reconnect with the Manquehue Apostolic Movement from Chile.
Since 2015, Downside School has built a strong link with the Benedictine Manquehue Apostolic Movement in Chile, including involvement with their Gap Year Programme and experiencing their invaluable input and ministry during their time within the School.
As part of our mission to enhance spiritual opportunities after Downside, we are delighted to be joining forces with The Ampleforth Society, Abbot Christopher Jamison OSB (R69), Jonathan Perry (Head of the Manquehue Apostolic Movement), and members of the Manquehue community to offer a special reunion in London. This event provides an opportunity to reconnect with the Benedictine spirituality of Manquehue, reflecting on how you might bring its values into your own life.
The event will run from 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday 10th November at St Mary Moorfields, Eldon St, London, EC2M 7LS. Mass will begin at 4pm followed by drinks at a local pub. Attendance is free, though contributions on the day are welcome. Please register in advance to confirm your place using the link below.
