During our Month of Service, the Houses have opted for a variety of different Acts of Service.

The Caverel girls are writing ‘Letters of Hope’ to OG keyworkers – including education and healthcare professionals – to express their gratitude and support for the work our alumni have been doing during the pandemic. Here are some excerpts from the letters:

‘We are keeping you in mind all the time. It is amazing that you are helping people our age whilst putting yourself at risk. We, along with so many other people, are extraordinarily grateful to you and your colleagues!’ – Third Form Pupil, Caverel House

‘We are grateful for all the hard work, time and effort you have put in. We want you to know how much we appreciate you.’ – Fourth Form Pupil, Caverel House

‘We would to like to write to you to thank you and show our appreciation for all the hard work you have done and are continuing to do during these difficult times. We hope that the light of God guides you through your job and helps you to endure through all the adversities you may face.’ – Sixth Form Pupil, Caverel House

‘We can’t express our gratitude enough for the work that all the key workers have done over the past year, and we will never be able to show are thanks in enough proportion.’ – Sixth Form Pupil, Caverel House
