The annual Halford Hewitt competition took place recently with members of the Old Gregorian Golf Society braving high winds and wintry conditions. They played Epsom in the first round and went on to take part in the Plate the following day. They lost narrowly to Mill Hill in the Plate (one game won at the 17th, one lost at the 18th and another at the 16th).

Spectators were joined by the new Director of Sport at Downside, Richard Jones and Director of External Communications, Jane Vines.
