Well if you were there you’ll want to attend a very special screen showing of the now enhanced and revised cine film taken by Paddy McAndrew over the years 75-78 which shows all of the above and more. Accompanied by a soundtrack which reflects the music listened to in that era, you’ll be transported back to the sights and sounds of your youth!

The film (with an introduction from ‘Gerry’ Kilroy, English teacher and Roberts Assistant House Master during that time) will be shown at 7.00pm on Friday 19th September at Downside. After the screening – and a short sound film capturing an Ullathorne reunion many years later with jokes and tales from Father Gervase – they’ll be an opportunity to catch up with old friends and exchange stories over a curry and refreshments.

The evening promises to be a lot of fun and you might even spot yourself on film.

There is no charge for the event but we will be asking for donations to go towards the bursary fund on the evening.
