Downside Fun Run – Sunday 10 May 2026

On Sunday 10 May 2026, Downside School will host its inaugural Fun Run, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities.

We warmly invite members of our entire community – OGs, current parents, past parents, current pupils, staff, friends and local residents- to sign up and take part. Whether you run, jog or walk, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together in support of Downside.

Distances & Entry Fees

All proceeds will go directly towards our Bursary Fund. We are proud to be the second highest provider of means-tested bursaries in England, supporting many pupils – including a significant number from Somerset – to benefit from a Downside education.

Mass will be celebrated in the Basilica of St Gregory the Great (Downside Abbey Church) at 10.00am before the race, and all are welcome to attend.

The race will begin at 11.45am at the Pavilion.

Bring a picnic, gather your family and friends, and be part of a truly special and fun-filled community event.
