We were delighted to present Dorothy House this week with a cheque for £1,023 following staff fund-raising at our annual Christmas raffle.
Dorothy House is a fantastic charity that provides palliative and end of life care to adults with a progressive, treatable but not curable life-limiting illness or with severe frailty, and also their family (including children) and carers. This is a charity particularly close to home as we raised money in memory of the late Martin Hill, a member of staff who worked at Downside for 49 years and who was supported by Dorothy House.
