We are delighted to share the news of the appointment of two new Governors to support our current School Board of Governors.
Robert Jenkins B71, an Old Gregorian, replaces James Scott-Gatty. Robert is a Chartered Accountant, with career credentials in investment banking and private equity. He has experience across a wide range of business sectors, including natural resources. He also has significant Non-Executive Director experience – in Audit and Remuneration Committee, Chair and Senior Independent Director roles of UK Stock Exchange Premium Listed companies.
Anne Lynch fills the Governor position left vacant by the resignation of the previous Chair, Giles Mercer. A modern and classical linguist, Anne brings significant educational experience as a teacher and senior leader, having worked in UK Independent Boarding and Day Schools for over 30 years. She has recently retired as Principal of The Royal School, Haslemere, where she successfully led the transition from single sex to co-educational provision, and was previously Deputy Head (Academic) at Worth School. Anne is also a Governor at an Independent Boarding and Day School in Ascot and a Director of a French educational charity based in the Auvergne.
