The Petre Library was the perfect setting for the inaugural themed Business Lunch at Downside on Thursday 14th December.
This new style event aims to bring together business professionals from all sectors to explore and discuss particular themes and hot topics. Just under 20 OGs and current parents explored ‘Adaptation in the Contemporary Workplace’. Chris Eke (C85), Founder and Director of The Ultimate Space Company, provided a keynote introduction on the evolution of their HEX working spaces following Covid-19 and the transition many employers and employees now face with the varying working setups, from the ‘work-from-home’, ‘hybrid’ to being fully in the office.
Chris commented that the event was “a brilliantly simple forum, this is not business speed dating in any way, shape or form. It’s a collaborative space to share ideas with a wide cross-section of people. I was delighted to be part of it.”
