80th Air Crash Anniversary Service

On Saturday 20^th May, a commemorative service will be held at the Monks’ Cemetery to remember the nine boys and pilot who lost their lives during the air crash on 15^th May 1943.

All are welcome to attend the service, which will begin at 11.00am. Following the service, the Downside Wanderers Cricket Team will play a match against the School (weather permitting), beginning at 12.00pm.

The Downside Abbey Archive team have also prepared a pop-up exhibition, which will be available to view at the Pavilion from 12.00pm.

Parking is available on Abbey Road prior to the service.
