On Thursday 29th September Downside was invited to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Polish Scholarship Scheme.
Downside has welcomed 52 Polish Scholars to the School since the inception of the scholarship scheme, St John Paul II Scholarship, in cooperation with the Polish United World Colleges Committee (UWC) that coordinates a highly competitive selection process in Poland.
Many OGs were in attendance to celebrate the momentous milestone, and it was a pleasure to hear how life-changing a scholarship at Downside has been on their lives. We look forward to continuing the strong relationship and welcoming more Polish Scholars to the School.
