On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June Downside School welcomed back the 2014 leavers to celebrate their 10-year reunion.
It was a fun-filled event as the OGs participated in the various activities organized for OG Day on Saturday. They had the unique opportunity to revisit their old boarding Houses, each room and corridor stirring memories of their school days. The reunion also provided a chance to reconnect with some of their past teachers, sharing stories and updates on the paths their lives have taken since leaving the School.
The celebration continued into the evening as the OGs stayed overnight in Plunkett House. The convivial atmosphere was enhanced by a lively barbecue, where everyone enjoyed good food, music, and the company of old friends, strengthening the bonds forged over a decade ago.
On Sunday morning, they joined us at the Abbey Church for Sunday Mass, followed by brunch in the Butler Room. The day concluded in the Pavilion, where they had the chance to see fellow OGs playing for the Downside Wanderers in a fixture against Harrow.
Downside School is proud to see all OGs thriving and remains committed to fostering a lifelong community for all. Here’s to the Class of 2014 and many more reunions to come!
