It has now been five years since the completed restoration of the Performing Arts Centre, including the outstanding 400-seat Fleischner Theatre and various Music Suites.

During the last five years, we have been fortunate to host a vast range of plays and performances in the Theatre, with Westside Story reopening the stage in 2017 to the most recent production, an Evening of Love.

Donations from the Old Gregorian and wider community were instrumental in achieving the vision of a Performing Arts Centre, with its extensive stage, Recording Studio, practice rooms and editing Mac Suite. Pupils have the perfect environment to nurture their passion and skills.

It is with great thanks that we share this video with you, including a message from our Director of Music, Julian McNamara, some of our recent Old Gregorians, and a current parent. The impact of such generous donations continues to change the lives of so many who thrive on the stage, behind the scenes and throughout the Performing Arts Centre.

Thank You from all at Downside, past and present.
