OG Societies and Clubs
Whether you are a seasoned professional or an amateur player, there are several OG Sporting Societies to choose from, with fixtures at Downside and across the UK. New and old players are always welcome, please contact the Development Office for more information, to suggest new clubs or to get involved.

The Downside Wanderers Cricket Club is a great experience for the Downside Cricketer. Playing in matches across England, this young and enthusiastic team plays fixtures across the Summer. Click here for the fixture list.

The Old Gregorian Golfing Society is one of the most active of our OG Sporting Societies. With rounds played on some wonderful courses, most of which are within an easy driving distance from London.

Both Boys’ and Girls’ Hockey are organised throughout the School year with fixtures against the School in the Michaelmas and Lent Term.

The Old Gregorian Netball Society is sociable and flexible team based in London, hoping to compete in various fixtures throughout the year, including the annual match against the School during the Lent Super Saturday.

The Racquets Society aims to encompass all forms of racquet sport, irrespective of skill! For 2024 you can join us on the OG Day for a mixed tennis fixture against the School.

The Rugby Society is an OG Sporting Society that we are looking to expand, with the intention of the first fixture during the Michaelmas Term 2024.

The OGYSA has been involved in an annual regatta (Arrow Trophy) a two-day regatta at Cowes, Isle of Wight for over ten years competing against 14 – 24 boats. Public school rivalry has been strong and competitive as well as social and friendly. All crew with basic to advanced experience are welcome to join for selection.
