MADRID WEEKEND 2022

Description

We warmly invite OGs and parents past and present, to join us for a wonderful weekend in Madrid for the Triennial St Gregory’s Society Dinner. The arrangements for the weekend are from Thursday to Sunday, although you do not need to attend the entire event. Details are below and we hope you will join us for some or all the weekend, especially the black tie dinner on Friday 21st October at the Club Gran Pena. 

Thursday 20th October

Informal evening drinks & supper for those coming out to Madrid from overseas. Restaurant TBC.

Tickets: $75

Friday 21st October

Lunch tapas el Lateral Tapas Bar, on Paseo de la Castellana (approx. €40 p.p.)

St Gregory’s Society Madrid Dinner at the Real Club Gran Peña, Calle Gran Via 2. Drinks from 20.45 & dinner at 21.30. Partners and other guests are most welcome. 

Tickets: €75  Dress: Black Tie.

Saturday 22nd October

Mass at 19:45 in the side chapel la Capilla Santísima of la Parroquia de San Francisco de Borja annex, the main Jesuit Church in Madrid. Please enter via the side entrance on Maldonado nº 1b and turning right upon entry.

Sunday 23rd October

At leisure and depart.

Accommodation

For anyone living outside Madrid, we recommend the Hotel Hyatt Regency Hesperia (Tel: +34 912 10 88 00) which is a 4* Hotel close to the various venues for the weekend. A more modestly priced 3* option, still close to the weekend event is NH Zurbano, Calle de Zurbano, 79, (Tel: +34 914 41 45 00). 

Payment

Purchase of Thursday Supper & Friday Dinner Tickets should be made in advance by bank transfer. Further details will be provided upon booking your tickets.
