Remembrance at Downside
Pupils, parents, staff, OGs and friends came together to remember the fallen during a weekend of remembrance.
A short Remembrance Service took place at the School War Memorial, on Saturday 11th November, led by Fr Boniface. Wreaths were laid, hymns sung and a minute’s silence took place, with Antonia playing the Last Post. On Sunday, a special Mass took place in the Abbey Church, before the Downside School Pipe Band led the Bath Remembrance Parade during the afternoon.
