A number of pupils took part in expeditions for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Ten Tors Expedition during the Easter break.
Walking took place on Dartmoor and canoeing on the River Wye in Herefordshire. In total, 13 pupils completed the Ten Tors training, and as a result we have been awarded two 35-mile teams for the final expedition which is great news; 7 pupils achieved their Silver DofE Qualifying Walking Expedition and another 15 pupils completed Silver or Gold Walking Practice Expedition. A further 8 pupils completed 5-days of Canoe Training and Practice Expedition.
We’re really proud that such a large number of pupils completed their Silver and Gold training, well done to all involved.
