The Downside Association aims to build community amongst all those who are part of the Gregorian family and extend a very warm welcome to everyone to join in a range of activities.
All current parents pay £10 per term on the fee bill to buy a lifetime membership of the Downside Association, which means that past parents, friends of Downside and alumni are all de facto members of the Downside Association, for life.
The Association promotes friendship and good communication as well as opportunities to socialise at events hosted throughout the academic year. For example: a new parent brunch takes place in September to welcome new members; lectures, concerts, and plays are open to all, including the Carol Service and the Quiz & Curry Night in November, which has become a firm fixture on the events calendar.
New for this year are key sporting fixtures where the competition should be great. Refreshments will be available to purchase up at the Pavilion before the match, followed by our famous match teas, which are open to all afterwards. Take part on the touchline and give our girls and boys the support they deserve. Keep up to date with all Downside Association events here.
The Association also supports the Annual Fund by fundraising for smaller projects on an ad hoc basis. A small Committee co-ordinates the activities each year and welcome suggestions and new members.
Chair: Khashi Sharifi

As pupils leave and become Old Gregorians, parents are encouraged to remain active within the Downside Association.
