Discovering Downside at Open Day

We love Open Days at Downside. Aside from the delicious buffet, lovingly prepared by our award-winning caterers, Holroyd Howe, it’s always great fun getting to know families who are considering sending their child to board or become a day pupil.

For our guests, there is the opportunity to also chat candidly with existing parents about the day-to-day experience, as well as a tour of our rural site with our existing pupils (this is where you really get to hear about how good the food is, or what the teachers are really like).

Sixth Form Open Day

Each year, we host an A Level Subject Fair & Sixth Form Open Day, which offers all year 11 pupils the opportunity to speak to our teachers about the content of the A Level courses that they teach. Anyone is welcome to attend, we just ask that you register your place with our Admissions department. This year, the event takes place on Saturday 14th October, with tours from 10am.

If you’re not able to make it in October, fear not, as we still have a few spaces still available for our next general Open Day (for all entry ages 11-18) on Saturday 4th November. Call today on +44(0)1761 235103, or email
