Concours d’Elegance set to return to Downside

From Austin to Aston Martin, Bentley to Bugatti and Rolls-Royce to Riley, there are already dozens of cars registered for what is set to be a spectacular Concours d’Elegance at Downside School, on Sunday 1st May 2016.

The gathering of vintage, classic and interesting vehicles is now in its third year. It is making a return to the elegant Stratton-on-the-Fosse site due to popular demand. Each year, over 100 cars are on display with vehicles in the past ranging from a 1904 De Dion Bouton, a 1926 Bugatti T23 Brescia, a 1936 Squire, a delightfully unrestored 1926 AC Sociable, and a 1911 Stanley Steam Car, plus food and live music. The event will run from 12noon until 4.30pm. Light lunches, a Hog Roast and afternoon teas will be on sale, and there is free parking for all visitors. Members of the public can purchase tickets at £5.00 per adult (U-16’s free) by visiting and tickets can also be purchased on the day.

If you have a vehicle that you would like to register for the event, please contact Sarah Kerr ( or call 01761 235194.
