Yesterday our Fifth Form CCF Army cadets enjoyed an Army Careers Experience delivered by members of the Grenadier Guards and Artillery regiments.

Pupils were given leadership tasks and a STEM exercise on how to build a drone. They also explored the history of military clothing and specialist weaponry brought by the soldiers. The soldiers shared their military experiences and stories, and highlighted the skills and qualifications needed to join the military.

Finally, our pupils had the opportunity to discuss potential careers in the army on a one-to-one basis with a member of the Careers and Recruitment Team. An enjoyable, insightful and useful day for those considering a career in the Armed Forces.
