Pupils listen to Rabbi
As the final talk of the Upper Sixth General RS course on non-Christian religions, Rabbi Mendy Singer of Chabad in Bristol, came to talk about Judaism.
He gave a masterly presentation that encompassed the importance of the Law and Talmud, the 7 Noahide Laws, daily life as an Orthodox Jew, and a whistlestop tour of the feasts and fasts, including a demonstration of a shofar horn. Pupils had the opportunity to ask questions, and his talk was much appreciated. Last week, Third Form pupils were able to visit a Mosque in Bristol, as part of their studies
