Third Form Retreat
Each pupil at Downside is able to take part in a retreat at some stage during the academic year. On Wednesday 13th September, the Third Form enjoyed a retreat together. The pupils started at St Benedict’s Church, Stratton on the Fosse, before walking to the Plague Church, in Holcombe.
The retreat was led by Dom James, Paul Andrewartha (Lay Chaplain, and members of the Manquehue Community; a number of Sixth Form pupils also assisted in leading activities. The Third Form really enjoyed the range of thought-provoking activities throughout the day… we’re looking forward to the next one!
