Boys and girls in
St Oliver’s House have time-tabled games
on two afternoons a week, and may play in a School
team on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from
the Lower First (Year 5) upwards. There are also
supervised games sessions on Monday and Thursday
evenings between 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m., in
which day pupils are welcome to participate.
The major games for
boys are rugby in the Michaelmas Term, hockey and
football in the Lent Term and cricket in the Summer
Term. For girls, hockey is the major game in the
Michaelmas Term, netball in the Lent Term, tennis
and rounders in the Summer Term.
The School has a large
modern sports hall, a heated indoor swimming pool,
eight newly-refurbished tennis courts, a gymnasium
and modern, glass-backed squash courts, all of
which are used regularly by the boys and girls
of St Oliver’s House.
