St Oliver’s
House is keen to attract gifted and talented
pupils. The following scholarships and awards
are available for pupils entering Downside at
11+, into the Lower Second Form (Year 7).
(Downside Senior School
also offers a variety of scholarships and awards
for pupils entering the School at 13+ and 16+,
details of which may be found by clicking here.)
Academic
scholarships of up to half fees are
awarded on the basis of examinations and interviews
held at the School in the Lent Term.
Music scholarships of
up to half fees are awarded on the basis of auditions
and interviews held at the School in the Lent Term.
Choral exhibitions (also
available at 9+ and 10+) to the maximum value of
10% of fees are awarded to pupils who will sing
in the Schola Cantorum, and are awarded on the
basis of auditions and interviews held at the School
in the Lent Term.
Award holders must
reapply when moving up to the Senior School at
13+.
