World Book Day Challenge
Challenge a pupil to read Percy Jackson.
Challenge a teacher to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Challenge a prefect to read The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
……raise money for Books for Africa.
Pupils can challenge anyone at Downside School to read a book of their choice from the Petre Library by the end of the Easter holiday. If the challenge is accepted and completed, they (the ‘Challenger’) will donate £1 to Books for Africa.
Pupils are only allowed to recommend books that they have previously read themselves. The book must be available from the Petre Library and Reference books aren’t allowed!
One challenge per person. One challenge per book (unless we have duplicate copies in the library).
