Besides their work with pupils in the school,
they are very much part of the life of the monastic
community, attending the Office and sharing in
the life of the Refectory (including the washing
up!)
It is great to share their enthusiasm for the
spirit of Benedictine life that they bring from
the extraordinary work they do in their schools
in Santiago. We hope that they enjoy their stay
here, for which they surrender their summer for
the Mendip cold and wet, and learn something of
the joy and richness of life in a fully fledged
Benedictine monastery.
