Downside School is in Stratton on the Fosse on the A367. The main entrance gates, marked Downside School, are one mile into the village on the right if approaching from the north.
From London
Either (recommended): take the M3 to junction 8 (A303); A303 to A360 towards Devizes and through Shrewton; A360 to B390 towards Warminster and Chitterne; B390 to A36 towards Warminster; A36 to A362 towards Frome; A362 towards Longleat and Frome; A362 towards Radstock. After Buckland Dinham turn left at the crossroads signposted Kilmersdon B3139. Follow until the White Post roundabout and turn left on A367 and Stratton on the Fosse. The main entrance gates are one mile into the village on the right hand-side, marked Downside School.
Or: take the M4 to junction 18 (A46) to Bath.
From Bath
Follow signs for the A36 (Exeter) and then take the A367 to Radstock/Shepton Mallet and continue to Stratton on the Fosse.
From Bristol
Take the A37 to Farrington Gurney and continue to Ston Easton. After Ston Easton turn left on the B3139 through Chilcompton. Turn right at the White Post roundabout onto the A367 and follow into Stratton on the Fosse.
