We are very grateful to all
our donors and each and every penny you donate goes to
support development. Regular events are held at Downside
to enable us to say thank you in person. We would of
course respect any wishes to remain anonymous.
For those who have pledged
to remember us in their will we have a Petre Society
and members are invited to an annual lunch with the Abbot
and the Headmaster to witness at first hand the difference
their generosity will make.
For individuals, trusts and
companies who enable whole projects then there is the
opportunity to name the building for posterity. Recent
examples are the Allan Baths, Petre Library etc.
Downside’s Development Board
consists of a group of individuals whose patronage is
such that they have a vested interest in seeing development
projects completed as soon as possible. Their influence
on the fundraising strategy supports the work of the
Development Office.
