The Trustees appoint the members of the Board of Governors other than the Abbot. The Governors are responsible for the general direction and ensuring the proper management and control of the School but are nevertheless accountable to the Trustees in all matters and comply with such reasonable policy directions as the Trustees may make from time to time. The Governors in fulfilment of the duties they have undertaken are considered to be Agents of the Trustees and the Trustees may give them the power to make contracts in the name of the Trustees.
