WELLS AND GLASTONBURY

Maesbury is an Iron Age camp used to protect the Mendips.

Almost invisible from below it gives fine views of the western Mendip landscape, as well as towards Wells and Glastonbury. This time the lower landscape was veiled by the haze.

To work off some of the Christmas holidays, the Novitiate walked to Wells over Maesbury. Brother Joshua, who had spent Christmas in Mexico in tropical temperatures, found it a bit cold!

The journey back by bus full of school kids quickly brought us back to earth.
