The Holy Father, Pope Benedict
XVI makes his State Visit to the United Kingdom from
the 16th to the 19th of September. Further details

The Abbot will lead a pilgrimage
of monks and parishioners of the Downside parishes
to the Beatification of John Henry Cardinal Newman
at Cofton Park, Birmingham on Sunday 19 September.
The diocese of Clifton have provided a limited number
of tickets and these have all been allocated however
there is a faint possibility that further tickets might
become available. Those parishioners who have been
allocated tickets will be contacted by the co-ordinator,
Dr. Simon Johnson, in early September when further
instructions are issued from the diocese.
There is a ‘waiting list’
but it is unlikely that any further tickets will be
