Magdalena and Catalina are
welcome additions to the Chilean presence at Downside.
They will be chiefly engaged in developing the work
that the Manquehue Apostolic Movement has been doing
in our school over the past four years, but also join
the community in praying Lauds, Midday Office, Vespers
and Compline in choir. The new additions add a certain
feminine subtlety to the tone of our psalmody!
The real
spiritual friendship that our Chilean guests have with
one another is infectious and in receiving it the community
is given great joy and hope.
