PRAYER
FOR VOCATIONS
We invite you to join
us in prayer for vocations to Downside on the first
Friday of each month. Particular times are at Mass
(8.35 a.m.) and during a Holy Hour (from 7.15 p.m.)
when there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
ending with Benediction after Compline.
Merciful Lord,
I thank you for the life you have given me,
for the people who have helped me along the path
to where I am,
and for all the ways in which you have shown your
love to me:
help me to know your will,
give me courage and hope in your faithfulness,
and help me to be as generous as you.
Almighty God,
by the power of your Holy Spirit,
bless all whom you are calling
to follow you in the monastic life;
grant that they may find true happiness in doing
your will.
